What is a machine sewn weft?

Answer:  A weft is usually constructed by guiding the top end of a bundle of hair together carefully feeding it through an industrial double and single needle machine.  Double needle will sew the loose hairs together and the single needle folds and make a thin weft.  



Why do you need two machines to make weft?  Can I use a conventional sewing machine.

Answer:  A conventional single needle sewing machine is used by some to construct a weft, however, this kind of machine takes a much longer time, looks thick, unfinished, unprofessional, and will most likely shed.



Do you charge by the weight received or by the finished weight after wefting?

Answer:  When we receive your hair it is re-weighed and you are charged by the weight prior to wefting​​​​​​.

 

How much hair is fold over for the beards?  Do you cut the beards?​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Answer:  Depending on the quality of hair, typically we only fold over an inch, but unfortunately, some vendors mixed in so many shorter pieces, so in order to secure those shorter length we sometimes have to fold over more than an inch.  Yes we cut beards.



Approximately how much hair do you loose while wefting?

 

WE ARE NOT THE REASON YOU GET LESS HAIR BACK AFTER WEFTING - YOUR HAIR WILL ARRIVE  FROM YOUR VENDOR WITH WASTAGE ALREADY MIXED IN (SHORTER HAIR) AND EXCESSIVE RUBBERBANDS, WHICH ADDS UP YOUR FINAL WEIGHT. DURING THE WEFTING PROCESS DEPENDING ON HOW MUCH WASTAGE (SHORT HAIRS) IS MIXED IN AND AFTER REMOVAL OF EXCESSIVE RUBBERBANDS, SHORT HAIRS WILL SHED OUT DURING WEFTING.  WE HAVE NO CONTROL OVER THIS, THEREFORE YOU WILL END UP WITH LESS WEIGHT.

 

Answer: Depending on the quality,typically, you will loose +/-10 - 20% per bundle.  Vendors are notorious for padding each bundle.  This is not always true with every vendor, but unfortunately, when you purchase a 100 gram bundle, most likely you are only receiving 80-90 grams. So in layman terms, 1 kilo should net you 8 bundles, but in fact if each bundle weights 20% less after wefting you sometimes (again depending on the severity of the padding) only end up with 5-6 bundles.  I have seen loss up to 40%!!!  

 

What is your turnaround time?

​One to two kilo approximately 5-7 days.   Three kilos and more approximatel 10-14 days but please note turnaround time can be affected by circumstances beyond our control such as but not limited to machine issues, staffing issues (due to personal or health reasons), etc.  We will inform you in the event we cannot get your hair back to you in a timely manner.  For the most part, we have been able to ship your hair back to in a timely manner.

 

 How do I know if my hair is padded?

Answer:  Unless you know how to carefully hackle your virgin hair after it is untied, you will never know!  Once it is sent to us for wefting a professional wefter can detect padding immediately.  When we do we will informed and you will receive all the wasted hair back when we have completed your order for you to see



​Do you use glue?

Answer: No we don't because our hair is securely wefted.   It is a matter of preference, you can apply glue once you receive the hair, but it is not necessary.  Some people however want that added security so it is perfectly okay if you choose to do so



Do you clean Nits off hair?

Answer: No we do not.  We will return to you hair that is unsanitary with any signs of lice



​Why do you charge extra for Curly hair?

Answer: Because curly hair requires more time to sew.  This texture is not as easy to weft as straight/slight wavy hair due to the curl pattern.

 



Can you guarantee your hair will never shed?

Answer:  Of course not, but we guarantee that once the hair leaves our facility it has passed our strict quality control inspection and there is absolutely no shedding.  Hair sheds for a variety of reasons... and considering that on average our natural hair sheds 50 - 100 strands a day  naturally with our natural oil...... So it is ridiculous to think that hair extension after wefting should never shed!!!!!!    Hair Extensions will shed if It is dry and lack moisture, the environment, or split ends.  Hair extensions have absolutely no natural oils once it is cut from the head, so therefore, if you fail to  maintain your hair extensions with the right products it will break and shed, due to your negligence, not due to our wefting.  If there is a remote possibility  and it can be proven without the shadow of a doubt that one of our wefters did a poor job and we somehow missed it and mailed the hair to you, we will ask that you send the hair back for re-weft ONE TIME ONLY.
